Robert Scott Zampino, 54, of Conneaut, OH, passed away suddenly of a heart attack on Monday, March 1, 2021 at his residence. He was born October 13, 1966 in Cleveland, OH, a son of Michael and Mary (Konyha) Zampino. Robert served his country with the United States Navy. He and his wife Sue co-owned Pegasus Therapy Solutions, LLC. He was a former member of St. Lawrence Roman Catholic Church in Albion, PA. He was an avid Minnesota Vikings, Ohio State and Alabama football fan, he loved his horses and his music. Rob had a heart of gold and loved his wife unconditionally, she was his one and only, and there was nothing he wouldn’t do for her. Rob always said, “You are the best part of me. We are eternal.” Robert is survived by his wife of 11 years, Susan Marie (Walchack) Zampino, whom he married February 8, 2010, although they’ve known each other since kindergarten, parents, Michael and Mary Zampino, parents-in-law, Robert and Helen Walchack, three children, Ashley Walchack and her wife, Angel Moore, Kathleen Zampino, Anthony Zampino and his wife, Alyssa, five brothers and sisters; Guy Zampino and his wife, Deedee, Wendy Zampino, Paul Zampino and his wife, Donna, Lisa Anderson and her husband, Jeff, Michelle Romano and her husband, Tony. Also, surviving are two grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Calling hour will be held St. Lawrence Catholic Church, 180 East State Street, Albion, on Saturday from 1pm until the time of a Funeral Mass there at 2pm with Fr. James Kennelley officiating. Burial will be private by the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family. The Mattera Funeral Home, 188 East State Street, Albion, is handling the funeral arrangements.
