Pasquale (Pat) S. Mattera

Pasquale (Pat) Mattera started in the funeral profession in 1995. He attended Mercyhurst College, Erie, PA and graduated from the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science, Pittsburgh, PA in 1997 and was licensed as a funeral director in 1999. He worked for several funeral homes in the surrounding area before buying the Steff Funeral Home in Albion in January of 2008.

At this time, the name of the funeral home is Mattera Funeral Home.

Pat is a member of the Albion Area Lions Club, Albion Chamber of Commerce, Pennsylvania Licensed Life Insurance Agent, Erie-Crawford County Funeral Directors Association, Pennsylvania Funeral Directors Association, and National Funeral Directors Association; member of the Mortuary Disaster Response Team and Coroner’s Disaster Respond Team.

He and his wife, Kathleen have two children named Pasquale Samuel Jr. and Kylie Elizabeth.
