In Loving Memory of John Gollmer, Beloved Patriarch of our family

John Gollmer, aged 76, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on March 25th 2024. John honorably served in the Navy during Vietnam War on the USS Titonic.  He was a devoted husband, parent, grandparent, and great-grandparent, leaving behind a legacy of love, wisdom, and cherished memories.

Born in Conneaut, Ohio on May 21st, 1947, John was the pillar of strength for his family. John’s nurturing spirit and boundless love fostered a tight-knit family unit, characterized by warmth and unity. He instilled in his family values of compassion, resilience, and togetherness, which will continue to guide them in his absence.

John is survived by his loving wife, Ann of 57 years, three sons – John Gollmer his wife Amanda, Darrick Gollmer and his wife Gayle, Chris Kitchen and his partner Meagan, Niece Michelle Green her husband Brent, along with 18 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren, as well as numerous relatives and friends whose lives he touched deeply.

He will be remembered for his unwavering devotion to family, his infectious laughter, his witty sense of humor and his compassionate heart. He has left an indelible mark on the lives of all who knew him and will be dearly missed.

A celebration of John's life will be held at Albion Park on April 7th 2024, at 2:00-4:00 where family and friends will come together to honor and reminisce about the beautiful life he lived.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
