Bruce D. Reed, 73, of Cranesville, passed away Wednesday, September 27, 2023 at Edinboro Manor after a period of declining health.  He was born December 21, 1949 in Erie, a son of the late Lloyd and Betty (Moffitt) Reed.  Bruce served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.  He owned and operated Reed’s Pizza and Subs in Albion for over 50 years.  He was a life member of the Veterans club, he enjoyed hunting, bowling, and pitching horseshoes.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Kim.  He is survived by a son, Jason Reed and his wife, Cynthia, seven grandchildren, Kenzie Harris, Blaize Reed, Aleah Reed, Logan Moore, James Raschke, Harley Carnes, Atlantis James, two brothers, Wayne and Ted Reed, four sisters, Connie Starcher, Linda Humphreys, Sherry Stoops, Sonia Rea, and many nieces and nephews.  No calling hours or service will be held at this time.  Memorials may be made to the family.  The Mattera Funeral Home, 188 East State Street, Albion, is handling the funeral arrangements.  To light a memory candle or leave a condolence, please visit www.matterafuneralhome.com
