Susan Rickard, 66, of Pittsburgh, formerly of Albion, passed away Thursday, May 4, 2023.  She was born July 3, 1956 in Erie, a daughter of the late Billie and Shirley (Shaffer) Rickard.  Susan graduated from Northwestern High School.  She served as an MP with the United States Marine Corps.  She loved to visit with her long-time friend Linda Peters (Warner), her nieces Madelyn and Katelyn, and her brother Lee.  She loved listening to music.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Beth Ann Rickard.  She is survived by two brothers, Lee Rickard and his wife Jennifer (Barner), Bruce Rickard, and three nieces, Madelyn and Katelyn Rickard, Samantha Rickard.  Calling hours will be held at the Mattera Funeral Home, 188 East State Street, Albion, on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 from 5pm until the time of a funeral service there at 7pm.  Burial will be in Hope Cemetery, Wellsburg.  Donations may be made in honor of Susan to K-9 for Warriors by visiting www.k9sforwarriors.org.  To light a memory candle or leave a condolence please visit www.matterafuneralhome.com
