Patricia Gail Drakes, 57, of Albion, passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on Saturday, December 31, 2022 after her long but courageous battle with cancer.  Patty was born on April 6, 1965 to the late Richard Kiser Sr. and Elsie Kiser in Erie, PA.  She was a 1983 graduate of Northwestern High School in Albion.  She was a homemaker for many years, taking care of her family that she loved deeply.  She loved camping, playing cards and spending time with her grandkids and family.  Patty was a lifetime member of the Albion Moose Lodge #381/#481, where she was a part of the “Women of the Moose”.  On December 3, 1983, Patty married her high school sweetheart and true love of her life, Dan Drakes.  They enjoyed 39 wonderful years of marriage together.  Survivors include her husband, Dan Drakes, of Albion, her son, Justin Drakes and his wife, Danielle, of Saegertown, PA, her daughter, Jamie Behrendt and her husband, Robert, of Girard, PA, all six of her grandkids that she loved so very much; Layilah, Lincoln, Brooklynn, Chris, Carter and Brayden.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Elsie Kiser.  Family and friends are welcomed to attend memorial calling hours for Patty on Saturday, January 7, 2023, from 2pm-5pm at the Mattera Funeral Home, 188 East State Street, Albion.  A Ceremony will be held at 2pm honoring Patty, presented by the Women and Men of the Moose.  Memorials in honor of Patty may be made to Mooseheart Child City & School, James J.
