Pamela Kennedy, 66, of Albion, peacefully passed away in her sleep at her sister’s home, after a long and courageous fight with cancer, on Saturday, June 13, 2020. Pamela was born in Erie, PA, on February 17, 1954, a daughter of the late Richard and Frieda (Taylor) Daugherty. Pamela was a graduate of Northwestern High School and spent many years as a waitress, the latest at Kay’s Place in Kingsville. In addition to her parents, Pamela was preceded in death by two brothers, Stanley Daugherty and Randy Daugherty, a son, Christopher Kennedy, and her ex-husband, Charles (Chuck). She is survived by her son, Curtis Kennedy, and his wife, Sara, of Albion, three sisters, Jan Daugherty and Ron Harouff, of Springfield, Patty Vorse and her husband, David, of Albion, and Jody Daugherty, with whom she lived, of Springfield, four grandchildren, Shelby, Christopher, Colton, and Charles, sister-in-law, Joy Kempf, of Albion, brother-in-law, Thomas Kennedy, of Girard, many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, and close friends. Arrangements are being handled privately by the family. Mattera Funeral Home, 188 East State Street, Albion, PA, is handling the arrangements.
