Darrell Copeland
Darrell Copeland, 63, of Albion, passed away suddenly at home on Friday, July 27, 2018. He was born January 2, 1955 in Conneaut, OH, a son of the late Clarence and Mildred (Knapp) Copeland. Darrell graduated from Northwestern High School. He worked as Chief Mechanical Officer for the Bessemer & Lake Erie Railroad and the DM&E Railroad. He loved all animals, woodworking, hunting, and spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Lynn (Baumann) Copeland, whom he married September 25, 2000, four step-children, Laura Stippich of Wattsburg, Amanda Morse of Albion, Cori Morse of Minnesota, Michael Payne of Minnesota, three children, Christy Feick and her husband, Brian, of Albion, Ashley Copeland of Albion, Lee Copeland and his wife, Rana, of Edinboro, a brother, Dennis Copeland and his wife, Beth, of Albion. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren, two nieces and one nephew. Memorial calling hours will be held at the Mattera Funeral Home, 188 East State Street, Albion, on Sunday from 2-4 p.m. and 6 p.m. until the time of a memorial service there at 8 p.m. with Minister Ashley Copeland officiating. Burial will be private by the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Northwest PA, 2407 Zimmerly Road, Erie, PA 16506 or to the Northwestern High School FFA, 100 Harthan Way, Albion, PA 16401. sorry for ur loss m cousin to him n brother Dennis. I will miss him lived with family when younger in school we all went to northwester high school to gether iwas close to him n Dennis n had fun tyogether when staying there for a short time again to family condolences to everyone
